My birthday weekend: Part I

My birthday weekend was a ton of fun. On Saturday, my actual birthday, we took the kids to Vollmer Farm where we picked strawberries. The kids picked two full buckets of organic strawberries that were absolutely delicious!

The kids had fun at the playground too...







After we finished strawberry picking and playing, we stopped at a grocery store, picked up some ice (and baby wipes), loaded up the cooler with our strawberries and headed for 5 county stadium to watch the mudcats play a baseball game!

We ate at Cattails Restaurant which overlooks the baseball field. The kids were so excited when Muddy the Mudcat stopped by the table for a visit.

The game was fun. We actually had the winning program that was signed by one of the players which meant that we won a prize - 2 free hours of maid service...SCORE!
